TURNIT

The game is still in development, so if you spot any bugs or have feedback, feel free to drop a comment!

A 1-bit pixel platformer where you rotate the world instead of relying on smooth movement. Movement feels a bit clunky  on purpose  so smart rotation is key to completing each level. Designed with a chill, easy difficulty in mind.

Controls:

  • MOVE:  A and D / Left and Right arrows
  • JUMP:  Space / W / Up arrow
  • ROTATE: Q and E
  • PAUSE: Escape / P
  • ZOOM: Z

Even if you can’t contribute, just sharing your thoughts means a lot!

I think it is a cute game, but for me personally, I don't really like the slippery controls. For a game about precision movement I feel like it should be a bit snappier. I've walked next to a spike, only for the character to keep sliding into it.

I also do not like how holding the jump key causes the character to keep jumping, I think for a game like this it would work better if you had to press the key again, I don't know. The only reason I bring this up, is because I've accidentally hit my head on spikes because the character keeps jumping when I didn't expect them to.

Just my personally preferences though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback. I know that the movement is bad. bcuz if I didn't, the game's main mechanic would not be the same.

About jumping tho, It is my first game. I will try to add options to change btw hold and press.

Thanks for playing

Sorry if I sounded a bit mean, wasn't my intention.

Good luck man!

I played on the downloaded version.

I like the music and the scene transitions. Seems like it could be a fun little game. BUT when I press Q on level 2, the game crashes. E works fine, but not Q. Log files are empty.

If you fix this, let me know and I'll give it another go.

EDIT: Doesn't seem to work on the browser version either. You probably should have done a bit more testing.

Thanks for the feedback. I will fix that problem as fast as posibble
